There’s this wonderful vegetarian café in Kensington Market called Hibiscus. The food is fresh and most importantly, delicious. As well, the food is inexpensive and the service is good (Hibiscus run by this tall Asian man, and he makes everything by himself on the spot; he does not hire cooks or waiters). All these things combined make me return to this hidden gem, and every time I go there, I bring a friend who is usually a Hibiscus virgin.
That day, I ordered a soup, which I think was coconut shrimp flavoured… I can’t remember. Anyway, served with the soup was this tasty rice cake with some spices on top. Mmmmmmmmm…
