Of course, when one acquires a camera they need a place to store it. After having spent $350 on a camera, I didn’t feel comfortable shelling out any more money for any accessories. I also had my old camera, a Canon PowerShot A700 that wasn’t being used. I made a deal with my dad. He gets my old camera (which I must add is a fine camera) and the case that comes with it, and in return, he buys me a case for my new one.
I meticulously did a search for camera bags, and with the aid of a forum for the Flickr group devoted to my camera, I opted to get the 2 Million Dollar Home camera bag. It holds EVERYTHING — my camera, my wallet, my cell phone, my iPod nano… and then some! The better part is that it doesn’t even look like a camera bag, so maybe, just maybe, I’ll be less of a target for those who want to mug me.
