While Mom gets hooked up to the dialysis machines, the nurses have us wait here. They don’t want us to be too close to the equipment when setting up in order to prevent unnecessary bacteria from floating around. Usually it takes about 15 minutes to get set up, and in the meantime, I watch elderly patients wait to be called in. Sometimes I watch the TV, which is usually tuned to CP24.
