This evening, I spotted this bear at the nurses’ station in the hospital and I remembered one thing: especially in times of need, we need all the comfort and love we can get.

Oh Rita Hayworth, you are absolutely gorgeous. Oh, and you were a great solution as to figuring out how I should spend my Friday night.

The film, Gilda, is just stunning to see. Whether it’s watching Rita Hayworth sing or seduce the gents, or just the beautiful cinematography… ahhh! Hollywood just doesn’t make films like this anymore. I feel that a lot of films heavily rely on programs such as After Effects to create the visual magic. Times have certainly changed.

Legit ain’t no friend of mine?

This is my dear friend Brad and one of the loves of his life, his MacBook… but that’s besides the point. I told him about project 365, and I realized I desperately needed to take a photo for that day… hence his expression.

Anyway, I spent Thursday afternoon visiting him at Ryerson when he helped me obtain and install a legal version of Adobe CS3 Production Premium for my Macbook Pro. Unfortunately, I had problems installing CS3. After I had inserted the second disc the installer froze up and restarting the machine wasn’t a viable solution either. There were a few moments in which we questioned whether my computer just doesn’t like legitimate programs. Thankfully, once I got home, things started to work. Why this happened, I don’t know… but in any case, I have a computer that works!
